Online Journal Databases

CIT Libraries offer access to several thousand journals and magazines online, through our website.

These include full text, peer reviewed journals – a vital resource for any academic research.

They also include bibliographic databases and more 'news' type magazines, newspaper and other publications.

They also include 'news' type newspapers, journals and databases

We also offer full text technical resources, with official engineering and scientific standards, guidelines, handbooks, technical reports, legislation, manufacturing information etc.

We also provide links to academic resources such as Masters and PhD theses from other libraries, research reports, conference papers, technical studies etc. either in full text or with bibliographic details.

In CIT Libraries we provide you with a valuable and comprehensive range of information that you will not find through internet search engines such as Google.

We provide Guides to this information, we have indexed it and filtered it, making it relevant and quickly accessible. That is why CIT Libraries and their resources are your first stop for the research you will be carrying out as part of your course.

To save time and effort it is important to learn which of the online databases would be most useful for your research, and we will explain this in the next few slides.
