Who we are

 

The CIT Careers Service is a free and confidential service available to all full-time registered students of the Institute, apprentice students and graduates of full-time courses who have finished within the previous academic year.

 

 

Agnes Looney

Agnes is one of the first points of contact for students within the Careers Service and manages all student bookings. She also ensures the availability of careers information and resources for students, engages with employers, manages website information, represents the service across the college and supports the coordination of careers events throughout the year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Treasa Morgan

Treasa coordinates all Careers Service activities and priorities, and supports the team to achieve service goals. She meets students at drop-in sessions, workshops and class talks.  Treasa also focusses on the annual Graduate Outcomes Survey and CIT Joint Mentorship Programme.

What We Can Do For You

The following Careers Service resources are available to you, as a student of CIT:

  • One-to-one career appointments.
  • Drop-in Sessions and Careers Clinics. (Check out Facebook, fliers at the front desk in the office and our notice boards for details.) 
  • Career Skills Workshops.
  • Website (There are lots of online resources here to help you!)
  • Information Room (Outside our office. 2nd Floor, Student Centre.  Pick up your free career resources!)
  • Noticeboards (One in the Information Room & one across from the shop, near the canteen)
  • Annual Careers & Employability Fair (Late September)
  • CIT Joint Mentorship Programme
