Good Start Ambassadors

Good Start Ambassadors are involved in all aspects of the Good Start welcome campaign, during the first four weeks of semester 1. Good Start is run by students for students and aims to help new first year students become familiar with the campus, settle in, meet new people, get prepared for study and find out who’s here to help along the way. Throughout the first four weeks of college the Good Start Ambassadors help first years find their feet in CIT and create a sense of belonging by answering questions at the Just Ask! desks, running competitions such as the Golden Ticket, creating content for the CIT social media campaign and facilitating Get Connected events in academic departments which help students get to know other students in their classes.

We are looking to recruit a small team of hardworking, outgoing, enthusiastic CIT students to be Good Start Ambassadors and help us run and event manage the Good Start 2018 campaign across all CIT campuses. Check out the Good Start Ambassador role descriptor hereNB: Once the Good Start programme of activities is completed in week 4, Good Start Ambassadors will join the wider cohort of Student Leaders and will be eligible to sign up for work available to Student Leaders in CIT. Apply through the form below, with your CV and Cover Letter.
