Examination Papers

Past examination papers are available in PDF format on the link below.  The latest papers are added after each examination session has concluded.

 

  • Please note that due to COVID-19 there was a change to the traditional final semester exams for Semester 2 2019/ 2020, Autumn 2019/2020, Semester 1 2020/2021, Semester 2 2020/2021, Autumn 2020/2021 and Semester 1 2021/2022 exams. Due to the move to Continuous Assessment the majority of papers for these Semesters are not published on the website. If you have any questions in relation to Assessments please contact your department.
  • Exam papers from the 2018/2019 Academic year onwards can be found by using the module code eg. ACCT6002, MECH6009 etc. 
  • Exam papers prior to the Academic Year 2018/2019 can be found through the block codes. eg. BACCT_7_Y1, EMECH_8_Y3,  etc. 
  • Please note that all courses in MTU Cork now operate on a semesterised and modularised system. Students should bear this in mind when accessing past examination papers, as older versions of examination papers may not be relevant to their current course of study. 

  • Please note that there has been some structural changes within the faculties in recent times.  As a result, some courses/programmes may now appear under a different academic department.  If you are having difficulty finding a specific programme or module, please use the search function to search by module code (e.g. MGMT6001, BULD7001 etc.) or block code (e.g. BBISY_8_Y2, CCIVL_7_Y3 etc.)

There are several thousand exam papers on this site so there may be some errors. If you discover any missing or incomplete papers please e-mail ExamsCork@mtu.ie. Be sure to clearly state the Course, Year, Session, and Subject paper involved.
