Programme Specification

The programme outcomes, curriculum and credit requirements of a programme will be formally outlined in a programme specification presented in the form required by the Institute. This should address:

• The purpose of the programme
• The overall programme learning outcomes
• How credit may be accumulated to achieve the award
• Entry requirements
• Further educational opportunities that may arise during or upon completion of the programme
• The team responsible for co-ordinating and managing the programme
• The mechanisms by which the quality of the programme is monitored and improved
