Step By Step Instructions


1 - Go to


2 -  Enter your student number and fill in the captcha. Once done, click 'Continue':




3 - You will be redirected to the next page that will enable you to get a verification code sent to your mobile phone. Click 'Continue':

Please note that if the mobile number listed is incorrect, you can amend it using MTU Banner (Web4Student), Otherwise contact




4 - You will now recieve an 8-digit verification code from MTU on your mobile. Enter this code and click 'Continue':



5 - You'll be redirected to the page below. Enter your date of birth and click 'Continue':



6 - Once the details have been confirmed, you'll be redirected to the below page to set a new password. Enter a new password, confirm it, fill in the captcha and then click 'Reset Password':

Should you require further assistance, please go to the IT ServiceDesk in the Library Building, Bishopstown Campus. Student ID or photo ID will be required as proof of identity for changes to passwords.
