If you would like to connect with MTU students and graduates, we have a range of options for you to participate in:
This range of options is for the direct promotion of graduate programmes and opportunities to students by companies.
Option 1: Information Stands Bishopstown Campus, Main Corridor (D-Block).
Option 2: We will promote your self-organised virtual and/or external events
Information Stands and virtual or external events are excellent ways to promote your Graduate and/or Internship Programmes, to increase your company profile and to meet MTU students.
This is a free service to employers in support of MTU students and graduates.
Multiple promotion channels will be used to promote Options 1 & 2 above, including communicating directly to relevant class groups, advertising through various social media accounts and on CAREERSconnect.
We deliver up to 2 Careers Fairs annually. Each of these aims to cover different company sizes and recruitment needs.
The Autumn Careers Fair: September/October
The Micro to Small Business and Medium Enterprise (mSME) Careers Fair : May/ June
We deliver the Fairs in two formats also, virtually and on campus. The idea however remains the same, that you connect directly with our students through a Company Stall.
Affiliate programmes are partnerships between a Student Service and a Company.
The programmes offer the opportunity for you to build your brand further at MTU, share job prospects with current students in a competitive recruitment market and influence the workforce of the future.
Some of our affiliate programmes include Ready Steady Work in collaboration with the MTU Disability Support Service and DELL Technologies (Employer partner for 2021-22) as well as the Joint Mentorship Programme in partnership with MTU Alumni Office and multiple company representatives.
Throughout the academic year, we work with academic colleagues to deliver tailored events and seminars to support the career development of specific class groups as part of timetabled hours.
Company representatives enjoy participating in these workshops and you can express interest in the link below.
