Conferrings

Autumn Conferring Ceremonies 2020

Following careful review and taking account of the advice from Government and State agencies, the Autumn 2020 Conferrings will be held online.  Ceremonies will take place over the week beginning Monday 2nd November 2020, ensuring that each graduate will be issued with his/her parchment in early November.  An email will be sent to your mycit.ie email account in late September with further information on individual online ceremony times, dates etc.

The Institute will hold a special event in June 2021, as circumstances allow, in order to provide the ‘Class of 2020’ with the opportunity to gather together on campus to celebrate their success.

Parchments

On completion of ceremonies, parchments will be posted to the home address on your student record. If your home address has changed please email admissions@cit.ie stating your name, student number and new address.  Parchments not delivered are returned to CIT by An Post and will be posted once the graduate contacts awards@cit.ie.  Please note it is not possible to facilitate requests for parchments before ceremonies are complete.  A transcript of your results including your overall result can be obtained by emailing transcripts@cit.ie

 

Important note for graduands:
Please note that all outstanding fees (and late penalties) must be paid in full to the Institute in order to be eligible to graduate.  While a fee remains unpaid it is not possible to have an award conferred by the Institute. Graduands can check their account balance and clear any unpaid fees online at www.cit.ie/pay
Queries regarding outstanding fees should be emailed to fees@cit.ie stating your name and student number.
