If you have any queries or need to contact MTU Disability Support Service (DSS) Cork campus, please contact us by email if possible:

The MTU DSS Cork campus staff are available to answer queries and you can email us Monday to Friday (8.30am – 4.30pm and 8.30-4pm on Friday).  The DSS usually responds to emails within 24 hours during the working week, but there is a delay during September/October due to the volume of queries coming in.

Please email the DSS or relevant member of staff in advance if you need to make an appointment for a meeting.

Where is the DSS?

• The main office for the DSS is based in the Access Service, on the ground floor of the Student Centre (beside the Bistro), Bishopstown campus. The Access Service is open from 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am- 4pm on Fridays.
• The Assistive Technology Service (which is part of the DSS) is on the ground floor of the Student Centre, Bishopstown campus. It also includes DSS Learning Support and Transitions Support. Only DSS students can access this area using their MTU student card.

• There are also DSS Learning Support tutors based in the MTU Crawford College of Art, MTU Cork School of Music, and National Maritime College of Ireland. Please contact them to check their rooms as these can change from year to year.
